And the biggest problem is that many of these mobile providers move around so much, they are difficult to track. If you have a problem down the road, you may have no recourse because they've simply disappeared.

Before you allow any mobile company to work on your car or truck, ask how long they've been in business and make sure they have the following: Business License, Business Insurance (General Liability & Garage Keepers), Written Estimate, Satisfaction Guarantee, & Lifetime Warranty.

• Avoid people that approach you on the street or leave flyers on your car.

• If you hire a mobile co in the interest of saving time, consider this: you still need to meet and greet, interview, negotiate price, tell them where to work, possibly assist in setup or let them in your garage, monitor the work, answer questions from neighbors or employees, post inspect, pay money in front of others, and wait for the company to pack up all their gear and leave.
• If quality is important to you, understand that dent repair performed by a Master Technician in a controlled shop environment, will always be more refined. Many mobile technicians, by the nature of the work, end up making repairs in natural sunlight or cloud cover, often without the appropriate artificial lighting or other reflective source, and ultimately perform a substandard or poor repair.
